Overseas Study Programs

  • Global Understanding

    Ichikawa Junior and Senior High School fosters global understanding. Students have chances to acquire cultural knowledge and build on their academic ability for their future dreams through Overseas Study Programs in Singapore, at our sister schools in New Zealand, and Cambridge Univ. & Oxford Univ., Eton College in the UK, Dartmouth College in the U.S. and through a firm relationship with our sister school in China. Also, several global programs are held at our school.
  • Designated as a “Super Science High School” (SSH)1st (2009-13) , 2nd (2014-18) & 3rd (2019-23) Term 

    SSH: A special model school designated by MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) to educate and encourage top students in science and engineering. A further aim is to develop an excellent educational system in science.
  • UNESCO Associated School

    Ichikawa Junior and Senior High School has been a UNESCO Associated School since 2012. Our subjects of research are international education, environmental education, and science instruction.
  • The World-Wide Learning (WWL) Project

    The WWL Project was launched in 2019 by MEXT. Its goal is to bring together internationally-minded individuals from various nations to build a global community who can share ideas for the good of our world.
